Ingredients

2 cups Greek yogurt (plain or vanilla)

2 large apples (preferably honeycrisp or Fuji), diced

1 cup granola (store-bought or homemade)

1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (for drizzling)

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1/2 cup mixed nuts ( almonds, walnuts, pecans), roughly chopped

1/4 cup dried cranberries or raisins (optional)

Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Apples: Start by washing the apples thoroughly. Core and dice them into small, bite-sized pieces. Place them in a bowl and sprinkle with cinnamon. Toss to coat the apples evenly and set aside.

Layer the Ingredients: In a jar or a small glass, begin layering the ingredients. Start with a generous scoop of Greek yogurt at the bottom.

Add Apples: Spoon a layer of the cinnamon-apple mixture over the yogurt, making sure to distribute it evenly.

Granola Time: Next, add a layer of granola on top of the apples. This adds a lovely crunch to each bite.

Repeat Layers: Repeat the layering process until you've reached the top of the jar, finishing with a final layer of yogurt, followed by apples, and then granola.

Top It Off: Drizzle honey or maple syrup over the top layer of granola for a touch of sweetness. Sprinkle chopped nuts and dried cranberries or raisins if using for added texture and flavor.

Garnish: If desired, garnish with fresh mint leaves for a pop of color and freshness.

Serve: Cover the jars with a lid or plastic wrap if prepping in advance. These snack jars can be enjoyed immediately or stored in the refrigerator for up to two days. Just give them a little stir before digging in!
