Instructions

Prepare the Chicken:

    - Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper on both sides.

      - Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the chicken for about 6-7 minutes per side, or until fully cooked and golden brown. Remove from the skillet and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

        Cook the Fettuccine:

          - In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta.

            Make the Alfredo Sauce:

              - In the same skillet used for the chicken, reduce the heat to medium and melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

                - Pour in the heavy cream and stir, allowing it to heat through. Gradually add the grated Parmesan cheese, stirring constantly until the cheese has melted and the sauce is creamy. If the sauce is too thick, add a little reserved pasta water to reach the desired consistency.

                  Combine Pasta & Sauce:

                    - Add the cooked fettuccine to the sauce, tossing gently to combine and coat the pasta evenly. Add the sliced chicken on top.

                      Prepare the Garlic Bread:

                        - Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

                          - In a small bowl, mix the softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, and a pinch of salt (and red pepper flakes if using).

                            - Slice the French bread in half lengthwise and spread the garlic butter mixture generously over the cut sides.

                              - Place the bread on a baking sheet and bake for about 10-12 minutes or until golden and crispy.

                                Serve:

                                  - Plate the Chicken Alfredo, topped with fresh parsley for garnish, and serve alongside the garlic bread.

Enjoy this delightful combination of creamy pasta and buttery garlic bread for a classic meal that’s sure to satisfy!
