1 can (15 oz) of cannellini beans, drained and rinsed

2 tablespoons tahini

3 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil, plus more for drizzling

1 teaspoon ground cumin

Salt and pepper to taste

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Optional: a pinch of red pepper flakes for extra heat

Instructions
 

In a food processor, combine the rinsed cannellini beans, tahini, minced garlic, lemon juice, and ground cumin.

    Pulse the mixture a few times to start combining the ingredients, scraping down the sides as necessary.

      With the food processor running, slowly drizzle in the olive oil until the mixture is creamy and smooth. You may need to add a tablespoon of water to achieve your desired consistency.

        Taste the dip and season with salt and pepper; blend again to incorporate.

          Transfer the dip to a serving bowl, drizzle with extra olive oil, and sprinkle with fresh parsley and red pepper flakes if desired.
