1 head of garlic

2 tablespoons olive oil

8 ounces fettuccine pasta

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

1 teaspoon salt (or to taste)

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon nutmeg (optional)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Extra Parmesan cheese (for serving)

Instructions
 

Roast the Garlic:

    - Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

      - Slice off the top of the garlic head to expose the cloves. Drizzle with 1 tablespoon of olive oil and wrap it in aluminum foil.
