Crispy Baked Cheesy Cauliflower

1 large head of cauliflower, cut into florets

3 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

½ teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

¼ cup breadcrumbs (panko recommended for extra crunch)

Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

    Prepare the Cauliflower: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cauliflower florets with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Toss well to ensure each piece is evenly coated with the oil and seasonings.

      Bake the Cauliflower: Spread the seasoned florets in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes, or until they start to soften and the edges are slightly browned.

        Add the Cheeses: Remove the baking sheet from the oven. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the cauliflower, followed by the grated Parmesan cheese and then the breadcrumbs.

          Finish Baking: Return the baking sheet to the oven and bake for an additional 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the breadcrumbs are golden and crispy.
