Ingredients

2 large sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into fries

3 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon cornstarch

1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning (adjust to taste)

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

½ teaspoon smoked paprika

½ teaspoon sea salt

Freshly cracked black pepper, to taste

Optional: chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

Prepare the Sweet Potatoes: In a large bowl, combine the sweet potato fries and olive oil. Toss until the fries are evenly coated.

Add the Dry Ingredients: In a separate small bowl, mix the cornstarch, Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, sea salt, and pepper. Sprinkle this mixture over the sweet potato fries and toss well until they are coated evenly.

Spread on Baking Sheet: Lay the seasoned fries in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, making sure they’re spaced out to ensure crispiness.

Bake the Fries: Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, flipping the fries halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy. Make sure to keep an eye on them during the last few minutes to prevent burning.

Garnish and Serve: Once baked, remove the fries from the oven and let them cool for a minute. If desired, sprinkle chopped fresh parsley over them for a pop of color and extra flavor. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
