Ingredients

12 oz penne pasta

2 cups cooked and shredded chicken (preferably crispy)

1 cup Caesar dressing

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1 cup croutons (homemade or store-bought)

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp Italian seasoning

1 tsp black pepper

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Prepare the Chicken: If you haven’t already, cook and shred the chicken until crispy. You can sauté it with a bit of olive oil and season it with salt and pepper for extra flavor.

Mix Sauce Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta, shredded chicken, Caesar dressing, half of the Parmesan cheese, half of the mozzarella cheese, halved cherry tomatoes, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, and black pepper. Stir until everything is well coated.

Transfer to Baking Dish: Pour the pasta mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, spreading it evenly.

Add Toppings: Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top. Then, add a generous layer of croutons to achieve that extra crispy texture.

Bake: Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.

Garnish and Serve: Once baked, let it cool for a few minutes. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.

Enjoy: Serve hot as a delightful main dish that combines the classic flavors of Caesar salad and comforting pasta bake!
