Ingredients

2 cups Greek yogurt (plain or vanilla)

1 cup fresh cherries, pitted and halved

1 cup dark chocolate chips (or melting chocolate)

1 tablespoon honey (optional, for extra sweetness)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

Sea salt (for garnish, optional)

Chopped nuts (almonds or walnuts, optional for topping)

Instructions

Prepare the Yogurt Mixture: In a mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt with honey and vanilla extract (if using). Stir well until smooth.

Cherries in Yogurt: Gently fold in the halved cherries into the yogurt mixture until they are evenly coated.

Forming Clusters: On a parchment-lined baking sheet, drop spoonfuls of the yogurt-cherry mixture, shaping them into clusters. Each cluster should be about 1 inch in diameter.

Freeze: Place the baking sheet in the freezer and let the clusters freeze for at least 2 hours, or until solid.

Melt the Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the dark chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until completely smooth.

Coat the Clusters: Remove the frozen yogurt clusters from the freezer. Working quickly, dip each cluster into the melted chocolate, ensuring they are well coated. Let excess chocolate drip off before placing them back onto the baking sheet.

Garnish (Optional): If desired, sprinkle a pinch of sea salt or chopped nuts on top of the chocolate-coated clusters for added flavor and texture.

Final Freeze: Return the chocolate-coated clusters to the freezer for an additional 30 minutes to allow the chocolate to set completely.

Serve: Once the chocolate is firm, remove the clusters from the freezer and enjoy your Frozen Chocolate Cherry Yogurt Clusters straight away, or store them in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 2 weeks.
