Ingredients

2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and halved

2 ripe bananas, sliced into thick rounds

1 cup yogurt (vanilla or plain)

2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (optional)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup granola (for coating and crunch)

8 wooden or metal skewers

Wax paper (for freezing)

Instructions

Prepare the Work Area: Line a baking sheet with wax paper for easy transfer to the freezer.

Mix the Yogurt Dip: In a bowl, combine yogurt, honey or maple syrup (if using), and vanilla extract. Stir until smooth and well mixed.

Skewer the Fruits: Take a skewer and alternate threading the strawberry halves and banana slices. Aim for 3-4 pieces of each fruit per skewer, leaving a bit of space at each end for handling.

Dip the Skewers: Once all the skewers are assembled, dip each one into the yogurt mixture, coating the fruit generously.

Add Crunch: Roll the yogurt-coated skewers in the granola to give them a crunchy exterior. Ensure the granola sticks well to the yogurt.

Freeze the Skewers: Place the coated skewers on the lined baking sheet and freeze for at least 2 hours or until completely solid.

Serve: Once frozen, remove the skewers from the freezer. Allow them to sit for a minute or two to soften slightly for easier eating. Enjoy your delicious frozen treat!
