Ingredients

1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1 cup almond flour

1/2 cup maple syrup (or honey)

1/4 cup coconut oil, melted

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

1/4 tsp sea salt

2 cups Greek yogurt (plain or flavored)

1/4 cup mini chocolate chips (optional)

Fresh berries or nuts for topping (optional)

Instructions

Preheat your oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8x8 inch baking dish with parchment paper for easy removal.

Make the brownie batter: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cocoa powder, almond flour, maple syrup, melted coconut oil, vanilla extract, and sea salt. Mix everything until you achieve a smooth, thick batter.

Bake the brownies: Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking dish. Use a spatula to spread it evenly. Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out mostly clean with a few moist crumbs.

Cool the brownies: Once baked, remove the brownies from the oven and let them cool in the pan for about 10-15 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Cut into bites: After the brownies are completely cool, cut them into small squares or bite-sized pieces (about 1 inch).

Prepare the yogurt layer: In a separate bowl, take the Greek yogurt and stir in the mini chocolate chips if using. You can mix the yogurt with a little sweetener or vanilla extract to taste if desired.

Assemble the bites: Using a spoon or a small cookie scoop, place a dollop of the yogurt mixture on top of each brownie bite. Sprinkle with fresh berries or nuts on top if desired.

Freeze the brownie bites: Place the assembled brownie bites on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Freeze for at least 2-3 hours until the yogurt is solid.

Serve: Once frozen, transfer them to an airtight container and store them in the freezer. Enjoy them as a quick dessert or snack anytime!
