Ingredients

4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

Zest of 1 lemon

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried dill)

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves (or ½ teaspoon dried thyme)

Salt and pepper, to taste

Lemon slices, for garnish

Fresh herb sprigs, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

Make the Marinade: In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, minced garlic, dill, parsley, thyme, salt, and pepper until well combined.

Prepare the Salmon: Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet, skin-side down. Brush each fillet generously with the lemon herb marinade, ensuring that they are well coated.

Marinate: Let the salmon sit for about 15 minutes at room temperature to allow the flavors to penetrate the fish.

Roast: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and roast the salmon for 12-15 minutes, or until it flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C). The edges should be slightly caramelized.

Garnish: Remove the salmon from the oven and garnish with lemon slices and fresh herb sprigs, if desired.

Serve: Serve the lemon herb roasted salmon with your choice of sides, such as steamed asparagus, quinoa, or a fresh garden salad.
