Mini Spicy Chicken Sliders

1 lb ground chicken

1/4 cup breadcrumbs

1/4 cup finely chopped red onion

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon chili powder

1 teaspoon cumin

1/2 teaspoon paprika

1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 tablespoon olive oil

Slider buns (approximately 12 small buns)

Sliced jalapeños (for serving)

Sliced avocado (for serving)

Fresh cilantro leaves (for garnish)

Spicy mayo (optional)

Instructions
 

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, breadcrumbs, chopped red onion, minced garlic, chili powder, cumin, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, black pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.

    Preheat your grill or a large skillet over medium heat and drizzle with olive oil.

      Form the chicken mixture into small patties, about 2 inches in diameter. You should get approximately 12 mini patties.

        Place the patties on the grill or in the skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and the patties are golden brown.

          While the sliders are cooking, split the slider buns and toast them on the grill or in a toaster until lightly golden.

            Assemble the sliders by placing a chicken patty on the bottom half of each slider bun. Top with sliced jalapeños, avocado, and a dollop of spicy mayo if desired.

              Garnish with fresh cilantro leaves and place the top half of the bun over the filling. Serve immediately for the best flavor and texture.
