Ingredients

1 can of refrigerated crescent roll dough (8 oz)

1 cup fresh spinach, chopped

1 cup ricotta cheese

½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese

¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 garlic clove, minced

½ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon black pepper

¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

1 egg (for egg wash)

Olive oil (for brushing)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a medium bowl, combine chopped spinach, ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes (if using). Mix until well combined.

Unroll the crescent roll dough on a clean surface, pressing the seams together to form a rectangle.

Spread the spinach and ricotta mixture evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.

Starting from the long edge, carefully roll the dough into a tight log. Pinch the seam to seal it.

Slice the rolled dough into 1-inch spirals and place them cut-side up on the prepared baking sheet.

In a small bowl, beat the egg and brush the mixture over the tops of each spiral for a golden finish. Drizzle a little olive oil over the tops for added flavor.

Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the spirals are golden brown and puffed up.

Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy your delicious Spinach Ricotta Crescent Roll Spirals!
